Red Barn Animal Hospital

Red Barn Animal Hospital is a ground-up construction project completed by RWE in the Fall of 2023. Spanning nearly 6,000 square feet, this northern Illinois animal care facility relocated from its previous location just across the street to its new home. An interesting aspect of this veterinary hospital is that its prior facility was originally a barn converted into a fully functional animal hospital. As you might infer, this history was pivotal in determining the design of their new facility. Collaborating closely with owner Dr. Stover, the RWE Design team developed a modernized ‘red barn’ design that honors the practice’s history.
