Project Description
RWE Design Build transformed 4,650 square feet into a welcoming pediatric care environment designed to support efficient operations while helping children and families feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. Inspired by the original Thrive Pediatrics location, the remodeled space carries the practice’s established identity forward while adapting the layout to meet the needs of the new facility.
A leaf-inspired ceiling soffit creates a memorable focal point in the reception area and connects visually with the Thrive Pediatrics logo. RWE incorporated a coordinated palette of light blue, dark blue, and teal finishes throughout the space to reinforce the practice’s brand and create an environment that feels bright, approachable, and appropriate for young patients.
To improve circulation and simplify the arrival experience, RWE integrated separate “Well” and “Sick” entrances. Light and dark blue color cues continue from each entrance into the corresponding exam room hallways, helping patients and caregivers intuitively understand where to go. This color-based wayfinding solution supports the practice’s workflow while reducing confusion for families.
RWE also helped create a dedicated children’s nook with comfortable seating and projection capabilities. The area was intentionally designed with lower lighting levels so projected imagery remains visible, giving young visitors a more engaging place to wait. Coordinated flooring patterns, custom signage, durable materials, and branded finishes bring consistency throughout the reception area, nurse station, clinical corridors, restrooms, and operational spaces.
Through integrated planning, interior design, and construction, RWE Design Build brought Thrive Pediatrics’ vision to life in a space that supports staff efficiency, reinforces the practice’s brand, and creates a more positive experience for children and their families.
