Project Description
Budding Heroes Dental Pediatrics is a 3,170-square-foot interior remodel designed to bring warmth, creativity, and comfort to a pediatric dental experience. Located in Itasca, Illinois, the practice was created for Dr. Towun Alimi-Ukoha with the goal of developing a space that felt playful and kid-friendly without becoming overly themed.
The design uses earth tones, warm wood finishes, branded colors, soft shapes, and subtle superhero-inspired details to create a polished yet imaginative environment. From the neutral reception area and children’s play zone to the green wayfinding soffit, interactive chalk wall, custom “Wow” wall, and personalized treatment rooms, every detail was designed to help young patients feel engaged and at ease.
Custom millwork and storage solutions were incorporated throughout the practice to maximize the compact footprint, while child-sized restroom fixtures and quiet hand dryers add thoughtful functionality for younger patients. The result is a cohesive, welcoming pediatric dental office that supports Dr. Alimi-Ukoha’s brand and creates a memorable experience for families.
